About the role We re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our large-scale AO Recycling plant in Telford, a 24/7 operational site processing fridges and other Large Domestic Appliances (LDA). This is a role with full responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment across the site. Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location: Oxfordshire, OX14 3DB, UK Job Type: Full-time contract, 12 Months Work Model: Onsite Minimum Requirement: Primarily to support the MAST-U Load Assembly Team during shutdown, including preparation for shutdown activities. Provide mechanical technician support to the Plant Responsible Officers (PRO) and their deputies. All mandatory training will be provided by Dept. for these systems and activities. Set and maintain high levels of safety on MAST. Promote good behavioural safety to drive improvements in culture, working conditions and professionalism. Support activities which support safety, including monitoring documentation such as risk assessments, keeping areas tidy and under control. Practice continual improvements in safety practices and behaviours. Adhere to regulatory requirements when working on plant. Understand and practice Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Expected to work mostly without direct continuous supervision; however, given the high hazard and complex nature of the work at Dept. aspects of the role may be supervised by SQEP personnel. Supervise contract staff, fitters and general workers on the any number of MAST-U systems. Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship or similar. Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Equivalent qualifications to those stated will be considered). Worked in an industrial setting, specifically mechanical assembly and maintenance, would be desirable. Experience of vacuum systems and understanding of electrical work, would be desirable. Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques. Experience of working under a Written Safe System of Work/Method Statements/Risk Assessments.

Survey Engineer / Test Engineer / Inspection Engineer required for a global, leading valve manufacturer. The successful Survey Engineer / Test Engineer / Inspection Engineer will be responsible for undertaking detailed testing, inspection, and surveying of steam trap products, including isolation valves, control valves, safety valves, actuators, and heat exchange packages. The successful Survey Engineer / Test Engineer / Inspection Engineer must have experience inspecting, testing, and surveying steam trap solutions and associated products. Perform steam trap testing using ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. Record detailed data on steam trap specifications, conditions, and performance.
