Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on capability, quality, delivery, and reliability. Manage day-to-day procurement activity to meet MRP demands and ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and resolve queries efficiently. Drive cost-saving and supply chain optimisation initiatives to support business objectives. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Buyer within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience buying into the Steel Industry would be advantageous Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and MRP systems (ERP experience required).
