Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer A growing multi-disciplinary building consultancy is seeking a Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer to take a key role within its expanding Principal Designer offering. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BRPD who wants to lead on Higher-Risk Building activity, taking technical ownership of complex projects while helping develop the consultancy's Building Regulations Principal Designer service. Working alongside Architects, Building Surveyors and Fire Engineers, the successful Principal Designer will have access to a strong technical team and a varied portfolio of complex building safety projects. The Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer Role The Lead BRPD will take responsibility for Principal Designer duties under the Building Regulations, with a particular focus on Higher-Risk Buildings and complex residential projects. You will lead design compliance reviews, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and advise clients on Building Regulations and Building Safety Act requirements. A significant part of the position will involve HRB activity, including supporting and leading Gateway submissions, managing compliance information, design change control and maintaining the Golden Thread.
