Experienced Gardener - Stratford £28,000 per annum We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Gardener to join a growing grounds maintenance team based in the Stratford area . This is a permanent role offering a salary of £28,000 per year , working within a supportive, team-focused environment. Our client is an established and fast-growing UK provider of integrated grounds maintenance and green space management services. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their horticultural teams across multiple sites in the region. Our client is a well established company offering Japanese Knotweed treatment to various commercial and residential sites, they are seeing an experienced Gardener with the PA1 and PA6 to become a Japanese Knotweed Technician and get supported to become certified, working on sites across London. As the successful candidate you will be an organised and responsible individual with attention to detail. You will be responsible for treating Japanese knotweed using a variety of treatment methods of which you will receive full training. Your daily tasks will include carrying out scheduled treatments on a daily basis during the treatment season and other work on an ad-hoc basis. You will be required to adhere to Health and Safety guidelines / regulations. Client service and satisfaction levels are to be professionally maintained at all times whilst on the property or sites. As the ideal candidate you will be a driver, a reliable individual who enjoys hands-on work and driving to various locations. No prior experience? No problem they provide full training! Role & Responsibilities Treatment of Japanese Knotweed using approved treatment methods and chemicals. Following Japanese Knotweed management plans to ensure correct process is followed to prevent the spread of Japanese Knotweed, adhering to the Property Care Association s code of practice at all times. Completion of client records after each treatment to maintain company records. Ensuring biosecurity is well maintained on site to prevent the spread of Japanese Knotweed, including the disposal of waste. Upkeep of the van allocated to you. Keeping it clean and presentable. Fuel card to be used when filling up for the applicable journey site to site. Your role will involve the use of potentially harmful chemicals. Full PPE will be provided to you to ensure you are protected at all times. It is your responsibility to inform us if you need fresh equipment, and to ensure that you protect yourself at all times whilst on site. Supplied iPad to be used on site is your responsibility and to be secure at all times. Training and qualifications In order to work independently on site, you will be required to complete the following qualifications at a minimum: -Full clean UK driving -Licence PA1 & PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides & Handheld Applicator (Theory & Practical Exam)

The use of regular garden tools such as rakes, leaf sweepers and brooms to clear scarification waste Working in a team or alone on machine work which can be physically demanding so good general fitness is required. Maintain standards of all health and safety practices, as supplied by Green Thumb Limited. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the company vehicle and ensure all servicing is completed. Ensure a professional and smart appearance at all times. Carrying out any necessary simple service calls as and when they arise. Carry out lawn analysis and quotations as required. The Chaplain will be a key member of the Bishop's Personal Staff which includes the Bishop's PA, the Bishop's Administrator and Hospitality Co-ordinator, the Palace Gardener and a part-time Driver. The Bishop's Office is located in the Gatehouse to the Bishop's Palace in central Exeter. The Bishop's Administrator and Hospitality Co-ordinator provides administrative support to the Chaplain. The role demands a time commitment comparable to that if a parish priest. Generally, the Bishop's Chaplain will be expected to participate in morning and evening worship and maintain regular office hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm with a break for lunch. Some evening commitments may be required. The designated rest day is usually Saturday, though there may be occasional Saturday duties, in which case an alternative day off can be arranged. It is crucial that the Bishop's Chaplain is typically available when the Bishop is in the office, given the demands on the Bishop's diary. Housing will be provided at no cost including exemptions from rent, council tax and water rates, located a short distance from the Bishop's Office. The Bishop's Chaplain will occupy this accommodation under a licence from its owners, the Diocesan Board of Finance. Additionally, removal expenses will be covered, along with a resettlement grant currently set at £2867. Permission may be granted to a Chaplain to live in his or her own property.
