Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Installation Team Salary: £39,000 base + Van + Overtime (after 50 hours) + Travel Time + Accommodation & Subsistence Covered On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £50,000 Location: UK-wide travel required (Regular overnight stays - all expenses paid) Ideal Base Location: Midlands / Coventry area - excellent access for nationwide travel The Opportunity: We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our specialist installation team, delivering bespoke material handling systems across the UK. This role suits someone who is mechanically minded, has a strong work ethic, and is happy to be away from home for extended periods. You'll be involved in the installation, commissioning, repair, and decommissioning of a wide variety of custom-built systems, including: Conveyors Cranes Automated storage systems Racking and other material handling equipment What the Role Involves: Nationwide installation projects on customer sites Working as part of a mobile team installing and supporting complex engineered systems Extended periods away from home (accommodation and meals paid for) Hands-on mechanical installation, repairs, and site work Liaising with integrators and end clients to deliver high-quality solutions Who This Role Would Suit: We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including: Mechanical installation engineers Vehicle mechanics or crane engineers Anyone hands-on and mechanically skilled, looking for a career change into field installation work Full training and development will be provided.
