On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Support the application, variation, amendment and ongoing monitoring of environmental permits, licences, authorisations, consents and exemptions. Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, site permits, regulatory obligations and business management system requirements. Prepare, review and submit environmental data and reports to SEPA, local authorities, statutory bodies and internal stakeholders as required. The Requirements We are seeking an experienced environmental scientist who has a strong background in environmental management, environmental sustainability and/or environmental legislation. The ideal candidate will have a degree, HND or similar in either environmental science or chemistry.
