An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent veterinary practice with a strong reputation for delivering compassionate care and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, support clinical procedures and contribute to the smooth running of the practice. This full-time role offers a salary range of £30,000 - £33,000 and benefits. Part-time hours candidates will also be considered. You will be responsible for: Conducting nurse consultations and providing advice to clients. Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures. Delivering a high standard of inpatient nursing care. Supporting patient admissions and discharges. Processing and running laboratory samples. Maintaining and managing your designated clinical workspace. Supervising work experience students within the practice. Providing clinical coaching and support to Student Veterinary Nurses when required. What we are looking for: Previously worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Nurse, RVN, Registered Nurse or in a similar role. Registered Veterinary Nurse status with the RCVS. Prior experience within a veterinary clinical setting. Confidence in both medical and surgical nursing duties. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently. Shift: Working hours: 37 hours per week. You can choose to work either: 4 days per week, with 9.25-hour shifts, or A similar number of hours spread across 5 days. Regular day off will be either Tuesday or Wednesday. 1 in every 3 Saturday mornings. What's on offer: Competitive salary. Family-friendly policies. No out-of-hours commitments. Pension scheme.
