Description We are supporting a major organisation delivering a large-scale finance transformation programme, including the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). They are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Lead to take ownership of process design and standardisation across finance, acting as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for the programme. This is a high-impact role, shaping how finance will operate in the future. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and standardisation of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, R2R, O2C) Act as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Finance Develop a structured process framework and GPO catalogue Deliver process mapping and documentation Lead workshops and working sessions with key stakeholders Manage and support a Finance Business Analyst Ensure alignment between business processes and the D365 F&O solution Contribute to the wider finance transformation programme Profile Key Requirements Strong background in finance (e.g. Finance Manager, Transformation Lead, Head of Finance) Proven experience leading finance transformation or process design initiatives Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes Hands-on experience with process mapping and process improvement Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills Experience working within complex transformation programmes Desirable Experience working alongside ERP implementations (D365, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Familiarity with operating model design and governance frameworks Experience in large or complex organisations Job Offer Competitive day rate. Reporting to the Finance Director (transformation and shared services) and based in the UK you will play a key role in shaping the future of finance shared services for P2P including the phased transition to SAP Hana. What will you be doing? As Global Process Owner for Procure to Pay (P2P) you will play a major part in the design and implementation of a future finance shared services operating model. Your wide-ranging remit will encompass organisation design, process, controls, quality and systems optimisation, creating best practice finance shared services operations that will ensure consistency and robustness throughout the operating companies that span more than 100 countries. Initially you will undertake a current status review to understand current processes and procedures. You will then create a future operating model plan, leveraging technology / automation opportunities and driving quality operating practices and processes that are fit for purpose, scalable and compliant at group and local level. Working with your stakeholder groups you will then oversee the implementation of the operating model across Europe, the America s and Asia. The foundation of the operating model will be based on SAP ECC 6 transitioning to SAP HANA. Working with your stakeholder teams you will inspire a continuous improvement culture, encouraging collaborative working to achieve everything from quick wins to big picture strategic objectives. What are we looking for? To be successful as Global Process Owner P2P, we seek the following skills, experience and attributes: Proven subject matter experience in P2P gained within an international business. Finance Shared Services expertise we will consider captive / in-house or outsourced service delivery. Manufacturing sector experience would by highly advantageous. Ideally a qualified accountant or a highly experienced finance shared services professional. Strong business transformation skills encompassing people, processes and systems SAP ECC experience is essential. Excellent planning, organisation and planning skills. Great communication and presentation skills (across all levels) with the ability to inspire and influence. Willing to travel as necessary, particularly in the UK, and occasionally globally.
