You will have full responsibility for all aspects of running a successful store. Managing KPIs around people, store standards, customer service standards and financial performance, maximising both turnover and gross margin along with control of costs. Ensure you and your team are delivering the highest standards of pet care and ensure that the welfare of pets is a top priority, promoting responsible pet ownership. Exceptional customer service by providing a great shopping experience for customers and displaying both strong pet and product knowledge. ( Training given) Responsible for recruiting, motivating, training and developing your team, reviewing and managing performance. Helping to promote Jollyes as an employer of choice within your local community. Ensuring clear communication of key business updates and individual and team objectives. The Skills: To be successful in this role, joining as a Store Manager you'll need the following skills and experience: A passion for pets and people! Delighting your customers by ensuring an unrivalled shopping experience. Previous retail store management experience, where you have taken a hands-on approach to managing the business on a daily basis and planned activity for the store's short, medium and long term success. A sound decision maker, able to communicate objectives effectively and build high performing and highly engaged teams, ensuring succession plans are in place to develop your future leaders. Able to demonstrate a proven track record in developing business performance and exceeding KPIs, whilst also delivering the highest levels of store standards including health & safety and legal compliance. You should be commercially aware, able to manage your P&L and have a proactive approach. Full time, permanent position - 40 hours per week working 5 days out of 7.
