Financial Accountant / Cost Accountant Location: Newport Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08 00, with 1 day working from home Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Accountant / Cost Accountant to join a manufacturing business based at their Newport site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and an interest in cost accounting, manufacturing finance and business partnering. The Role Reporting to the Operations Controller, you will support multiple manufacturing sites and play a key role in monthly accounting, reporting and analysis. Responsibilities will include journal entries, product costing, plant cost reviews, inventory adjustments, variance analysis, reconciliations, forecasting, cost planning, audit support and fixed asset reviews. You will also act as a trusted finance partner to the Site Leadership Team, providing accurate insight, identifying areas for improvement and supporting productivity gains across the business.
