Position: Electronics Technician Location: Wallsend, Newcastle Salary: 30,000 to 40,000 DOE An established electronics business based in Wallsend is looking to appoint a new electronics technician to join their small but highly skilled team. The company works on bespoke projects with global customers and provides a supportive, hands on environment where no two days are the same. The role will involve product testing at system, module and sub assembly level using a wide range of hardware and software tools. You will carry out stress, thermal and performance testing, as well as supporting the verification of embedded firmware and bespoke test software. Alongside testing, you will support customers both remotely and on site, helping to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Documentation and reporting are also part of the role, including maintaining engineering test records, producing test reports and supporting the wider team with quality control. As an electronics technician you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
