Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Leeds office. Benefits Clear and structured support towards Chartered Engineer status A supportive and collaborative working environment Exposure to a varied and exciting project portfolio Excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development Competitive salary and benefits package Day-to-Day Responsibilities Designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of building projects Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery Conducting technical analysis and preparing detailed reports Attending meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements Ensuring compliance with current industry standards and regulations Supporting the delivery of sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions Key Responsibilities Produce electrical building services designs across a broad range of projects Oversee project delivery from concept through to completion Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal design teams Attend project and client meetings, providing technical expertise and leadership Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and best practices Support and mentor junior engineers where required Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years' experience within Electrical Building Services Engineering Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Strong technical knowledge of building services design principles Proficiency in: Revit Dialux AutoCAD Bluebeam Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ambition to progress towards Chartered Engineer status Desirable Experience Experience within the following sectors would be advantageous: Education Healthcare However, candidates from all project backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
