Drylining Site Manager

If you're a Drylining Site Manager who's fed up with firefighting, dealing with unrealistic programmes, or working for a company that seems to make things up as they go along, keep reading. We're working with a growing drylining contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across the South West. They need a Site Manager who can take ownership on site, drive quality, maintain programme and keep subcontractors moving in the right direction. This isn't a clipboard-and-coffee role. You'll be expected to lead from the front, solve problems, build relationships with clients and main contractors, and make sure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. What you'll be doing: Managing drylining and SFS packages on site Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors Driving programme and quality standards Attending site meetings with clients and main contractors Managing health & safety on site Ensuring works are delivered snag-free What we're looking for: Proven experience managing drylining projects Strong understanding of partitions, ceilings and SFS Ability to lead site teams and subcontractors SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude What's in it for you? 50,000 - 60,000 basic salary Car allowance/company vehicle Pension Strong pipeline of secured work Genuine opportunities for progression A business that values people who get things done Interested? This is a site-focused role , with regular travel to multiple project locations, supported by occasional days in the office. As a key member of our operational team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of multiple live projects , ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and the commercial department to drive programmes forward, resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Direct experience within the passive fire protection sector is highly desirable, though candidates with a strong background in drylining, partitions, interior fit-out, or similar subcontracting disciplines will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, organised, and commercially aware Contracts Manager looking to take the next step in their career with a specialist subcontractor.
