Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled Architectural Technologist to join our growing design team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative design concepts and technical reality. You will be responsible for transforming initial architectural concepts into detailed, regulation-compliant construction packages, detail drawings, and technical specifications. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of building anatomy, construction regulations, and material science, backed by high proficiency in either AutoCAD or Vectorworks (proficiency in both is a major plus). You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered accurately, sustainably, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Technical Documentation: Prepare and coordinate detailed drawing packages, tender documents, and construction drawings using AutoCAD or Vectorworks. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a closely related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., CIAT, MCIAT, or regional equivalent) is highly desirable. Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks is required. Familiarity with BIM software (like Revit) or 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino) is a strong advantage. Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
