You will work to repair various types of cranes such as hydraulic, mobile, dockside, gantry and rope crane, etc. THE ROLE Working to maintain and repair various cranes found within the port setting such as hydraulic, rope and mobile, gantry and dockside cranes Installing, repairing and replacing damaged or defective parts Assisting with basic facilities upkeep of the site Dealing with deadlines, interruptions, and conflicting demands, ensuring that all work and documentation are completed within appropriate timeframes. Taking corrective action to resolve any identified faults / issues. Appropriately escalating matters to management when required. Assisting colleagues to carry out scheduled services and repairs to plant equipment and infrastructure. Reading and interpreting technical drawings Adhering to port safety protocols, including confined space entry, working at heights, and hot work procedures. Undertaking work independently.
