The Role Take responsibility for incoming and outgoing service stock, ensuring accuracy and availability Manage stock control, storage, and organisation, making best use of space and location systems Monitor and manage hire/loan stock, ensuring timely returns or invoicing Handle parts identification and ordering in support of engineering teams Fulfil service and sales orders efficiently Maintain accurate records and systems (CRM/stock management) Work closely with engineers, logistics, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly What We're Looking For A hands-on, self-sufficient individual who takes ownership Experience in a manager, supervisor, or controller-level role Proven ability to: Improve processes Reorganise and streamline operations Identify and resolve issues proactively Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident working independently without close supervision This role will not suit someone who has only worked as an operative or storesperson following set processes. Backgrounds of Interest Trade counters / wholesalers (e.g. tool or builders merchants) Automotive or parts distribution Engineering or spare parts environments Any role involving stock ownership, control, and process improvement Why Apply?
