What you'll being doing As the wellbeing coach, you'll be the person that residents, families, and colleagues know as the one who makes things happen. Whilst you'll be developing and organising enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule for our community, you'll also get to know our residents and find out what makes them happy as individuals. You'll learn about people's hobbies and interests and work with colleagues and families to ensure residents can keep doing what they love. Everyone is different, so at Hamberley, we work hard to ensure that people can participate in fun and meaningful activities, whatever their interests or physical and mental abilities. One day, you might arrange a trip to enjoy ice creams at the seaside, lunch at the pub, or a birthday celebration with family with mini-golf in the garden. Another day, you'll host a workshop, allowing people to try new things or to teach fellow residents how to recreate a favourite recipe, try a new craft or learn to paint with watercolours. One Hamberley home even produced a cookbook of family recipes shared by residents. You'll also support colleagues with their own wellbeing and lead and inspire the home to understand the importance of being part of a positive and creative living environment.
