Key Responsibilities: Preparing and amending customer artwork for print production Checking artwork files for accuracy, dimensions, colour profiles and print readiness Creating cutter guides, bleed and technical layouts to customer specifications Liaising with internal departments including sales, production and reprographics Managing multiple jobs and meeting production deadlines Ensuring artwork complies with brand guidelines and customer requirements Producing press-ready files for flexographic and digital print processes Maintaining accurate job records and file management systems Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience as a Studio Artworker within labels, packaging or print Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Good understanding of print processes, colour separation and reprographics High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or print environment Desirable: Experience within self-adhesive labels or flexible packaging Knowledge of barcode placement, cutter guides and variable data artwork Understanding of flexographic and digital printing processes This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing company within the labels and packaging sector.

You will take ownership of the design and creative implementation process, incorporating guidelines into master artwork / templates to ensure design aspiration works across all pack formats. To ensure the artwork team can use your design adaption files to replicate the styleguide requirements efficiently and without requiring additional design approval. To help and support the creation and management of all required master assets and to feed into the styleguide process where appropriate. You will have a good eye for design and be a good communicator. Excellent FMCG packaging experience Expert knowledge of packaging artwork and associated printing technologies. For example, from a background as a packaging/technical artworker or have print reproduction experience. Demonstrating an understanding of internal artwork procedures and standards, client artwork expectations, and the demands for executing a high turnover of artworks for a major retailer (thousands of SKU's per year). Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of colour separation, file set-up and supply using spot colour channels Demonstration of precision and excellent attention to detail from photography, typography and file set up to follow the client's guidelines and requirements. Experience of mentoring/line management advantageous.
