About the Role Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Drivers to join our business and continue driving the business to success. Main Responsibilities: Perform Pre-Shift and End-of-Shift vehicle checks including regular walk around inspections and report any defects found. Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and complying with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours. Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits and following site-specific rules. You must maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically. HGV Class 2 Driver - Skips, Tippers, Ro-Ro (ADR) - Permanent Position Location: Southampton, UK Salary: Up to 35,500pa (DOE) Are you an experienced HGV/LGV Driver with Class 2 and ADR Certification, looking to kick-start a new career for an established and growing Waste Management company in a permanent position? This role could be excellent for you! My client is looking for an experienced ADR Certified Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Southampton. Non ADR Licence holders with Class 2 certification will be considered. Working Hours: Full Time: Monday - Friday (Guaranteed 45 hours a week) - Overtime and weekend work available.
