About the role: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Wire person to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Key Responsibilities: Assemble control panels from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Wire control panels using industry-standard wiring techniques with a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Install electrical components such as switches, PLCs, relays, sensors, and terminal blocks. Test and troubleshoot panels to ensure they function correctly and meet design specifications. Document all panel builds, including modifications to wiring diagrams and layout changes. Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve technical issues and maintain high build standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and electrical standards. Ideal Candidate: We're looking for someone who has: A strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Solid knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and relevant standards Previous experience in control panel assembly or a similar electrical role Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail Confidence using a range of hand and power tools The ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 Electrical Certificate or Engineering qualification (Electrical or related discipline) What We Offer: 23 days paid holiday (rising with service up to 30 days). Installation of cable tray, trunking and conduits Testing of installations as and when required. Wiring of Electrical Control Panels, frame mounted components and specialised machinery. Correct use of hand tools, power tools, crimp tools to industry standards Be reactive to work when required which is electrical and non-electrical based. Electrical Fitter Permanent to work Monday to Friday, 30,000 with overtime paid at x1.5, market-leading growing company, 28 days holiday. Location of the position: Newton Le Willows The Fitter role is to assist with the manufacture of specialist vehicles, the role would suit people who have experience with electrics in some capacity - there is not an need to have experience working with vehicles directly as full training will be given. Duties of the Electrical Fitter position: Running wiring looms through vehicles Terminating cables Connecting cables to electrical systems in vehicles - lights, beacon, reversing cameras etc Spicing, fitting trucking, soldering.
