This is a hands-on support role where you'll provide 2nd line technical support across a broad Microsoft environment, helping to maintain business-critical systems and deliver an excellent user experience. You'll work closely with end users, service desk teams and infrastructure engineers, resolving technical issues, supporting ongoing IT projects and ensuring day-to-day IT operations run smoothly. What You'll Do: Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software and networking issues Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments Assist with device builds, deployments and user onboarding Support system upgrades, patching and maintenance activities Manage and update support tickets in line with agreed service levels Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge base improvements Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams where required You'll be working within a busy support environment where strong technical troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service are essential. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a 2nd Line Support Engineer or IT Support role Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 Experience supporting Active Directory and user administration Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP Experience with hardware troubleshooting and device deployments Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced IT support environment.
