Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer South Of England 48,000 + Van and Fuel Card Brief Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based and covering the South of England who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer that takes pride in their work. The successful candidate must hold their NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent apprenticeship along with their C&G 2079-11 F-Gas Cat1 certification. Experience in working on A/C, refrigeration, and chiller systems is also essential. Refrigeration Engineer What We re Looking For This is an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you ll play a part in keeping some of the UK s biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of customers fleets. Hours: Monday Friday; 8am 4:30pm Overtime available at time and a half OTE 55K Hours of work: Monday Friday; 8am 4:30pm (with one weekend in five) Responsibilities: Service and repair of all makes and models of transport refrigeration units including Carrier Transicold on different sites. Installation of transport refrigeration units including trailer, truck and light commercial vehicle units. Electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration fault diagnosis and repair. Able to work sufficiently and effectively remotely on busy customer premises away from workshop environment. Able to be part of a call out rota to cover out-of-hours breakdowns. Support workshops team members including Apprentice Engineers as required. Accurately record time and parts to complete jobs and associated details on mobile application. Ensuring a first-time fix on all repairs where possible. Manage van stock to ensure correct parts are always carried. Ad-hoc duties as required. Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance. Qualifications: F-Gas C&G 2079-11. Valid UK driving licence as using company service vehicle. Working remotely and travelling to customer premises for the majority of work. Installation experience of transport refrigeration units. Experience working in this role/a similar role. Excellent customer service mindset. Great communication skills. Ability to work quickly and effectively. Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Engineer. Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing transport refrigeration units. Diagnostics skills / qualifications desirable. Fleet experience.
