Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required Experience of setting and operating metal forming machinery. Experience of any of the following processes would be desirable. Cold Heading Thread Rolling (Flat dies) Power Presses (Progression press tooling) Multi-spindle machines (BSA / Wickman) Mechanical Engineering qualification (ideally BTEC level 3) or suitable apprenticeship, but a long-proven track record could also suffice. Ability to understand and work to Engineering drawings. Excellent mechanical problem solving. Good team player Good organisational skills and methodical thinker Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment Attention to accuracy and detail and quality driven Punctuality and reliability Ability to read, write and comprehend written instructions and have basic arithmetic skills Must be capable of lifting up to 20kg occasionally and a negligible amount constantly at a minimum of 10 hours per work shift.
