The successful candidate will be primarily involved in the supervision of remediation and earthworks projects, acting as a full-time Resident Engineer where required. My client is a successful consultancy operation across the North of England and they are looking to strengthen their team due to the business moving in a positive direction. This is a part-time opportunity and typically you will work 2-3 days per week. It would most likely suit candidates at the beginning of their career or those looking to wind down from a full-time role later in their career. On a typical day you can expect to be involved with: Collecting surface water samples, including use of field monitoring equipment. Ground water level monitoring , including use of field monitor equipment. Undertaking validation of gas protection measures, including preparing validation certificates. KEY DUTIES Configure and install network hardware including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points Assist with basic cybersecurity monitoring tasks, such as reviewing alerts or updating security software Learn to use AI-driven tools for automating routine IT support tasks or analysing system performance Monitor and review network infrastructure to ensure effective operational uptime and network performance Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams outlining the network architecture and procedures Provide technical support to localised IT Teams and assist with network-related inquiries Respond to security incidents to ensure the integrity of the network Support the setup and maintenance of smart office technologies (e.g., connected meeting rooms, digital signage, or automated systems) Contribute to testing and troubleshooting smart devices or AI-powered applications used within the company CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Strong team work skills Strong Organisational skills Good level of written and oral communication skills Self-Motivated
