Optometrist Job Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist to join a well-established independent group in the East of Scotland, working across practices in North Berwick and the surrounding coastal towns. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality, community-focused eye care in beautiful seaside locations, with flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive eye examinations tailored to patient needs. Provide expert advice on eye health, vision care, and preventative measures. Utilise modern equipment including OCT and fundus imaging. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional standards. Build strong relationships with patients and the local community. Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent patient care. Team Development: Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues. Engage in ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities. About You: GOC registered Optometrist (newly qualified or experienced welcome). Strong clinical and communication skills. Patient-focused with a friendly and professional approach. Interested in working within a community-based independent setting. Open to relocation or seeking a lifestyle change in a coastal location.
