Machine Minder Location: Coulman Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire Salary: £13.60 per hour (Weekly paid, one hour for lunch unpaid) Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday - overtime available various shifts. Totake responsibility for the setup and effective operation of production machinery, this role plays a key role in ensuring that production targets are met and that all products meet our high-quality standards. Duties: Complete pre-start checks in line with H&S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production. Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly. Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment. Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising. Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving. Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department. Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment. Conduct line cleaning to required specifications. Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish. Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency). Learn other plant and equipment when requested. Follow all Health & Safety procedures without exception.
