Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of maintenance engineers on shift Prioritise and delegate planned and reactive maintenance activities Provide hands-on fault finding and repair support across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime Support the delivery of preventative and predictive maintenance programmes Ensure compliance with all health, safety, quality, and food safety standards Work closely with Production, Quality, and Operational teams to resolve engineering issues Monitor engineering performance, downtime trends, and maintenance completion through CMMS systems Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions Support the training and development of engineers and technicians Deliver effective shift handovers and communicate key issues to management Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reliability About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 5 years' experience within an engineering or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment At least 2 years' experience leading or supervising engineering teams Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across mechanical and electrical systems Experience working with conveyors, packaging equipment, automation, and site utilities Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices and CMMS systems The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to perform under pressure Desirable Experience within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing IOSH qualification Food Safety certification PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting experience What's on Offer?
