Salary: Circa £58,000 dependent on experience Dynamic (Hybrid) Working Pattern: . Typically for this role, due to the nature of the work, you will need to work a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. Due to the nature of our business, this particular vacancy requires the applicant to be a British Citizen, or a Dual UK national with British citizenship, and capable of achieving a DV clearance level (which is managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team). Our EW Group supports activities on all relevant WS and missile programmes, with specific responsibilities for the physical integration and functional operation of RF Electronic Support / Attack payloads as part of the wider EW effects chain at Missile, Weapon System and System of Systems levels. This requires a range of skills including; systems engineering, supplier management, in-service support (particularly focussed on EW mission support), and EW technical expertise. Currently we are looking for Systems Design Engineers, Equipment Requirement Authorities (engineers responsible for managing the specification, procurement, delivery and integration of hardware into missiles), in-service support / EW mission support Engineers, and Technical Experts (particularly focussed on EW). What we're looking for from you: Someone who can demonstrate several of the qualities below: Knowledge and experience of RF Electronic Support and Attack Systems, including platform integration and through-life support. Strong technical understanding of RF and electronic systems. Knowledge and experience of algorithm design, and the implementation of those algorithms. Knowledge and understanding of Integrated Air Defence Systems. Experience in supplier management (typically undertaken with the support of a Procurement Lead). Systems design engineering skills including: requirements elicitation, decomposition and management; system design, integration and test; system verification and validation; etc Proficient in SysML, DOORS and / or Rhapsody. Experience in development and use of RF performance models. Experience of overseeing the transition of development hardware into production, including environmental testing, qualification testing and design certification. Experience working with Dstl, ASWC and / or DI. Candidates must hold, or be willing to apply for, DV clearance. What's in it for you?
