Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be supporting a growing Birmingham based organisation with their recruitment of a Financial Accountant to cover a period of Maternity Leave, on an initial 9 month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with UK financial regulations and standards and running the month end close process. Key Responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and subsidiary accounts. Ensuring the accuracy of all financial reporting and that company cashflow is being managed efficiently and effectively. Reviewing and supporting on payroll submissions and pension submission completion. Complete variance analysis against budget/forecast and prior year. Supporting the Year End Audit, ensuring all data and monthly processes have been undertaken to ensure the audit is completed to time, with minimal disruption to the business and with as few exceptions/queries raised as possible. Ensuring all Month and Year End tasks and associated reporting are completed by the Finance team correctly, within specified timescales (e.g. within 5 days).
