Mobile Alloy Wheel Repair Technician

Dr Alloy, a family-run business operating for over 7 years, is expanding! We re looking for a skilled Mobile Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to cover the South East (M25 radius). You ll work from one of our state-of-the-art diamond-cut vans, refurbishing alloy wheels for both trade and private clients. This is a hands-on role that combines technical skill, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the role and genuinely enjoys being on the tools. Working hours: Monday Friday. Flexibility is required to meet client needs across the M25 area. Responsibilities: Repair and refurbish painted and diamond-cut alloy wheels using a CNC lathe (full training provided) Prepare and paint wheels to a high-quality standard Deliver excellent face-to-face customer service Travel between jobs across the M25 area Maintain van, tools, and equipment Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in alloy wheel repair or refurbishment Strong prep and paint skills with attention to detail Knowledge of the motor industry Friendly and professional with a customer-focused approach Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, max 3 points) Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable with a mobile role involving regular driving Benefits: Up to £33,000 per year + bonus Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided 20 days annual leave + bank holidays Ongoing training and career development Supportive, family-run business culture career opportunities, not just a job!
