My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy based in Exeter is searching for a Senior Wastewater Modeller to join their friendly team. You can be based in Exeter, Sheffield, London or remote! It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Wastewater Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Infoworks ICM, CSO design and Flood Risk Assessments for sewers. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally to work from the office three times a week. Remote working and alternative office locations are available. This exciting Wastewater Modelling role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of specialist Engineers and Modellers to assist with Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation, Drainage, Pipeline and Wastewater Modelling Projects for Water Companies across the UK. As a Senior Wastewater Modeller you will be expected to complete; -Drainage Area Planning. -Flood alleviation schemes for sewers. -Optioneering and solution development. -CSO design and network design. -Hydraulic modelling, model build, verification using Infoworks ICM. -Manage projects and mentor team members. -Liaise with clients to discuss project progress. This Hydraulic Modeller opportunity in Sheffield offers technical progression and leadership exposure within a supportive environment. A specialist consultancy delivering wastewater and integrated hydraulic modelling projects is strengthening its modelling capability. As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will build and verify hydraulic models, support surveys and site investigations, and contribute to project scoping and reporting. The Hydraulic Modeller will supervise graduate modellers, analyse results and engage with clients alongside senior staff. This Hydraulic Modeller role combines hands-on modelling with mentoring and project development responsibilities. A minimum of three days per week will be office-based in Sheffield, with flexibility built around project needs.
