To be considered for this role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have: A proven HVAC maintenance and fault-finding experience An NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and FGAS Cat 1 certification Be multi-skilled Electrical or mechanical skills desirable Have strong communication and problem-solving skills Hold a full UK driving licence The key responsibilities of this role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer are: Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems (split units, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs) Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, and maintaining accurate records Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal HVAC control Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs promptly Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and maintain service documentation Liaise with contractors and suppliers to coordinate specialist maintenance and repairs Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota when required Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of HVAC equipment Produce detailed technical quotations including parts and labour costs Contribute to continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and industry regulations Escalate complex issues to Supervisors or Contract Managers as necessary Collaborate effectively with team members and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless plant operation Operate electronic documentation systems and SMART devices for reporting and compliance The employment package for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is: Birmingham based 42.5 hours per week Monday Friday 8am 5pm Overtime and on call paid additional to salary.
