Job title: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Mobile role, covering projects across the Midlands Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + package Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm (40 hours per week) Summary of Duties : Service and maintenance of gas appliances within both commercial and domestic properties. Boiler fault finding experience within both commercial and domestic properties. Qualifications Required: ACS CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, COMCAT Requirements: Gas experience within the commercial sector e.g. Analysing, fault finding, service, repair and maintenance on gas/heating installations and appliances. Working knowledge of test equipment including an electrical multi-meter Flexible approach: due to travel aspect, this is a mobile position that will involve travelling to multiple sites across the West & East Midlands as well as some wider travel as required. due to customer demands, the ability to work additional hours over and above contracted hours if and when required, where overtime would be payable. Be part of the emergency call out team on a rota basis To promote a positive and professional attitude to all customers and staff. Self- motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as within a team. Willing to undertake further training/development within the post as required. Domestic Gas Engineer Covering Bristol and surrounding areas £38K -£40K plus benefits and overtime Company Van Are you a Domestic Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer looking to work for a company that have a great culture and look after their staff. This role is working for a Bristol based Heating Company that provides Service, Maintenance and New Installations of Heating systems to both domestic and commercial properties across the south west region, as well as working with renewable energy. Due to this the company offer all employees the upskilling and training within renewables such as Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Complete Landlord Gas Safety inspections and gas appliance servicing as per manufactures instruction at private and social housing properties Carry out reactive maintenance on all types of boilers and heating systems. Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety procedures all relevant industry standards (including basic risk assessments), whilst completing all work in line with manufactures recommendations and company procedures A flexible approach to working hours working overtime to when required, and being part of an out of hours call out rota compulsory) to meet customer expectations. Responsible for managing company vehicle, including its cleanliness (inside and out) and van stock levels. Experience: Qualified in domestic heating systems, fault finding and central heating controls with a proven track record and able to demonstrate a high level of customer service whilst treating customers properties with respect. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Accredited Certification Scheme including, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 UHWSS (G3 Unvented Hot Water systems). Essential system controls, electrics, and basic heating wiring knowledge.
