My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy based in Exeter is searching for a Senior Wastewater Modeller to join their friendly team. You can be based in Exeter, Sheffield, London or remote! It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Wastewater Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Infoworks ICM, CSO design and Flood Risk Assessments for sewers. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally to work from the office three times a week. Remote working and alternative office locations are available. This exciting Wastewater Modelling role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of specialist Engineers and Modellers to assist with Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation, Drainage, Pipeline and Wastewater Modelling Projects for Water Companies across the UK. Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Modeller to be an active member of an international workforce solutions consultancy, in a 12-month contract position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days a week, from one of our client's offices across the country. You will be responsible for a variety of projects with a focus on flood risk management and design projects. - Competitive hourly rate of £55 (subject to experience) - Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days a week) Responsibilities: -Design and maintain hydraulic models, using tools like InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, and/or TUFLOW, for wastewater, flood risk, and drainage systems. - Examine survey, rainfall, flow, and spatial datasets and integrate GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS/QGIS) to support modelling work. -Read and acknowledge model results and create concise technical reports, visualisations, and documentation. -Ensure that UK industry standards, practices, and guidance are being followed. -Work alongside other multidisciplinary teams, supporting quality assurance, project planning, and peer reviews.
