Key Responsibilities Estimating & Sales Prepare accurate, competitive quotations from enquiries, drawings, specifications and tender documents Interpret technical information and identify project risks and opportunities Develop commercially viable pricing solutions that deliver client value while protecting margins Negotiate quotations and terms, convert successful quotes into confirmed orders and maintain accurate CRM records Follow up quotations and support sales conversion opportunities Project Coordination Work closely with Contracts, Sales and Operational teams to ensure smooth project handovers Attend project review and Contracts meetings, conduct site visits and surveys where required Maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle Customer, Supplier & Compliance Management Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders Source and verify material costs, complete PQQs and support tender submissions Assist with quality audits and maintain company accreditations including Constructionline, Achilles, JOSCAR, CHAS and SafeContractor Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation About You Experience in estimating, contract sales, quantity surveying or a similar commercial role within construction or a related industry Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Willingness to undergo Security Clearance Full UK driving licence required You will be someone who acts with honesty and integrity, takes pride in accurate high-quality work, enjoys collaboration and is curious, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, all while balancing great customer service with sound commercial decision-making.
