Summary: We are seeking a senior agency Building Services Electrical Engineer to join our London-based engineering team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily focusing on commercial, data centre, and airport developments, with a strong emphasis on project delivery. Candidates should have design consultancy experience and be capable of working autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The role requires a self-motivated individual able to produce high-quality electrical designs. Key responsibilities include undertaking electrical design work across various projects, producing designs using industry-standard software, collaborating and coordinating with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions, carrying out condition surveys and inspections of existing building services, preparing clear and structured technical reports for clients, working closely with BIM Technicians to develop 3D models and schematics, and writing system specifications using NBS software. Provide advice on daylight, overheating, natural ventilation, and thermal comfort assessments. Support low-carbon and net-zero strategies at early design stages. Liaise with architects, M&E engineers, and sustainability consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions. Produce clear, concise reports for design teams and clients. What We're Looking For Proven experience in Building Physics / Energy Modelling. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and environmental assessment methodologies. Proficiency in IES VE (essential). Familiarity with other tools (SAP, SBEM, CFD) would be a plus. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
