This role will see you taking ownership of complex incidents and changes, acting as a senior escalation point, supporting major projects, and serving as a technical SME across key Cisco technologies. Key Responsibilities Own complex faults and changes through to resolution. Escalation point for 2nd Line engineers. Support customer and vendor engagements. Perform root cause analysis and problem management. Deliver network and security projects. Manage firmware upgrades, documentation, and DR testing. Mentor colleagues and contribute to technical development. Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota. Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience with: Cisco ISE Cisco DNA Center Cisco Wireless Experience with NGFW technologies (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, FortiGate). CCNP-level networking knowledge. Strong understanding of: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP VLANs, STP, Trunking HSRP, VRRP, BFD Packet capture and troubleshooting expertise. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Desirable Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification. Cisco Umbrella and SD-WAN experience. HPE Aruba exposure. Automation experience with Ansible and/or Python. Azure and AWS knowledge. MSP experience.
