HSEQ Manager - Construction (New Build & Refurb) London. £60-65,000 + package We are working with an established Main contractor with a focus on London (& Home Counties). Projects range from £25m - £150M including Residential/PBSA/Hotels from RC Frame new build to Cut&Carve/Refurb.You will be an HSEQ Manager leading and continuously improving Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality performance covering a range of construction projects.Reporting at a senior level, you will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational assurance, ensuring SHEQ standards are embedded across the business while supporting commercial and project delivery objectives. You will: Own SHEQ compliance across multiple sites; lead IMS (ISO 45001/14001/9001) and maintain audit readiness.Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments; track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.Lead incident investigations (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and targeted training; run safety campaigns and behavioural programmes.Optimise digital SHEQ platforms for real time reporting and data accuracy.Review/approve complex RAMS; act as Appointed Person (Lifting) to assure safe operations.Engage with HSE and local authorities; chair SHEQ/safety/contract reviews with clients and stakeholders.Provide SHEQ expertise for pre construction, bids and tenders on multi million pound schemes. You will have/be:NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).IOSH membership (TechIOSH/GradIOSH/CMIOSH).Proven experience in senior HSEQ/SHEQ leadership in construction.Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO 45001/14001/9001 frameworks.The evidenced ability to lead audits, investigations and cultural change initiatives.A confident communicator with excellent influencing skills-credible at every level from site to boardroom and with regulators. Provide strategic oversight for office and warehouse infrastructure, plus critical IT developments to support scaling. Lead ad-hoc projects from HQ or Group GM, ensuring alignment with broader group strategy. Experience Experience: 10 years' professional experience, with 5 years at senior management / GM level in a UK-based eCommerce business. Scale: Proven track record managing a turnover of £100M in a large-scale, multi-site environment. Sector: Consumer products retailing, ideally B2B eCommerce or wholesale. Commercial toolkit: Working knowledge of marketing, accounting, and HR principles. Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA strongly preferred. You'll have experience supporting the preconstruction and bid stages as well as Leading projects and building a team. Projects can be anything from 25million - 150milli+ Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Role: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the regional commercial team for a leading Tier 1 main contractor. You will be responsible for leading the day to day commercial aspects of a large 40m refurbishment project for the MOJ ( 12m per annum). This position will report to a Commercial Manager and offers strong development opportunities for career progression. The role will be office based during pre-con and then be site based once live. To carry out duties as quantity surveyor on projects as instructed. To ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for the project in their control. Prepare or assist with cost / value reconciliation reports on a monthly basis accurately reporting the forecast final financial position of the project. Prepare turnover cash flow forecasts as directed by line manager at the commencement of all projects, updating as required and recording actual valuation achieved against forecast. Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Person You will have at least 7 yeards experience in Quantity Surveying Relevent HND.HNC or Degree Demonstrable experience of working on construction new build projects of at least 12m in value Experince working on MOJ projects is beneficical but not essential.
