As a Trade Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the workload of trade operatives, ensuring appointments are scheduled effectively and completed within target timescales. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and operatives, helping to maximise productivity, minimise downtime and deliver an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities: Schedule and manage operatives' diaries, ensuring appointments are attended as planned. Liaise with customers and operatives to arrange and reschedule appointments where necessary. Monitor outstanding jobs and proactively manage workloads to prevent overdue repairs. Prioritise emergency and urgent works in line with service requirements. Allocate work to the most appropriate trade operative to maximise first-time fix rates. Ensure operatives have the necessary materials and information to complete works efficiently. Plan appointments to minimise travel time and maximise productivity. Work closely with supervisors, managers and operational teams to achieve performance targets. Monitor job completion quality and punctuality, escalating performance concerns where required. Maintain accurate records and update the contract management system in a timely manner. Process subcontractor completion reports and manage future appointment scheduling. Essential Criteria Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, workforce coordination or repairs administration role. Experience working within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management or a similar environment is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
