ASL Technical is working with a leading manufacturer and supplier of compressed air systems. Due to business growth they now seek to hire an experienced Service Engineer with minimum 2years operational experience in service /installation of compressed air products . As Service Engineer you are responsible for installation, maintenance and repair tasks on customers compressed air equipment to the required standards. Your duty is to ensure the continued safe, reliable operation of the equipment by strict adherence to the company and client maintenance procedures. Region - Leeds and surrounds Key Accountabilities: Carry out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance of compressors and related systems and components. Service Engineers must adhere to manufacturers approved maintenance procedures and the instruction of the Service Manager. Service Engineers are expected to apply sound engineering practises to their duties and to fully communicate their actions. The Quality of maintenance accomplished by Service Engineers will affect the safety and operational reliability of the equipment. Key Responsibilities: Service engineers are responsible for planning and completing maintenance tasks delegated to them in a cost effective, timely manner ensuring that such work is accomplished to the required Kaeser/ISO/Customer standards. Service Engineers must maintain full and responsible communications with the customer and maintenance support team concerning their allocated jobs and movements. The integrity and honesty of a Service Engineer is an eminent factor in ensuring a safe, effective operation. To undertake training on products new or old when required, both in the UK and Germany. Expectations: Maintenance tasks carried out in time/ timely fashion and within policies and procedures Successful/accurate completion of checklist/POWRA Correct service report handling and sign off. Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety Policy requirements. Qualifications & Experience (min level of requirement): A formal technical training by means of apprenticeship or equivalent is required together with a minimum of two years practical experience working without direct supervision. Possess a sound engineering background, with relevant experience, demonstrating clear and effective hand skills and thinking. A current driving licence is essential. The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers. Field servicing background in electrical or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, HVAC, industrial refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics or transferable electro mechanical engineering equipment. Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous. A technical engineering degree / qualification, apprentice trained, FGas or similar would be advantageous. Willingness to travel and commute across the Northwest - Manchester and surrounding areas.

Provide feedback on any product design features causing maintenance or operational difficulties. Ensure ongoing compliance with the company s environmental procedures. Ensure ongoing compliance with company s Health and Safety procedures. To always comply with relevant on-site health and safety requirements. Submit expenses in accordance with company policy and ensure that expense documentation for team is detailed, documented, signed off before submitting to Finance. Skills and Experience Familiar with compressed air equipment, its associated controls and its service and maintenance requirements. Professional approach to work. You will combine an engineering qualification with excellent interpersonal and IT skills and a desire to deliver world-class customer service through the provision of quality workmanship. Be familiar with compressed air equipment, its associated controls and its service and maintenance requirements. Be familiar with modern servicing and faultfinding techniques. Awareness of electrical/electronic and PLC controlled systems and their testing and repair. Good communicator. Specific Skills / Qualifications Mechanical or electromechanical skills training or Apprenticeship Ability to work with both low pressure and high-pressure machines. Previous experience in a similar job function in a related field. The individual will need to obtain site clearance for a number of high profile sites and pass a DBS check.
