Hours of work: 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday 7am to 2:30 pm Friday This is an ongoing agency role for a period of 3 months, with possible extension depending on needs of the Council. Role requires the candidate to commence with any Landscaping/ Goundsmaintenance duties including but not limiting to: Digging, forking, hoeing, weeding, mulching, grass edging, pruning shrubs & roses, other duties in line with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act. Setting out, initial & over marking of sports pitches, running tracks, field events, rounders, javelin, shot, discus, tennis etc including hard surface line markings using specialist equipment and the erection and dismantling of sports equipment and the maintenance of synthetic sports surfaces. Including any other associated painting tasks in this regard. Preparation of ground for and the planting and staking of, trees annual bedding, shrub borders, rose beds, rockeries, and herbaceous borders. Carry out hard and soft landscaping works including the preparation of the ground for and the application of, seed & turf laying, slabbing, fence erection, brick work and rock gardens etc. Organise tools, equipment, materials, and other resource to ensure that tasks and projects are completed within any given timescales and to specification.
