Key Responsibilities As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Providing 1:1 support or small group interventions for students with SEN Assisting in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs Supporting students with literacy, numeracy, and communication skills Helping manage behaviour and engagement in a positive, proactive way Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils to boost confidence and independence Supporting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management About you We are seeking enthusiastic graduates with a passion for education and SEN: Psychology Degree Strong interest in working with children with SEN / SEND Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Experience with children (voluntary, coaching, tutoring, care work) is advantageous Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
