TV Aerial and Satellite Engineer - Commercial environments Looking for an experience ex-Sky Satellite Dish or UHF TV Aerial Installer / Engineer living in the Somerset / North Devon area: Taunton, Bridgwater, Exeter etc. This role is to support a number of TV Reception systems contracts, for commercial clients including: Sky Systems in Pubs, Gyms; TV reception systems (both UHF and Satellite) in Hotels and SIS TV reception equipment in betting shop and similar environments (casinos, race courses etc). They also look after AV equipment and Wi-Fi networks. Training on the commercial RF distribution and IPTV systems can be given, applicants who have worked on networked systems or have knowledge of RF, Wi-Fi networks, Data cabling etc preferred. Must have a full driver's licence, be confident driving a van and physically capable of using ladders, power tools etc. Salary on offer is £ basic + £2500 on call, plenty of overtime (average £3000+ per annum) and company van. This is a full-time permanent PAYE position with paid holidays, pension etc. and uniform, tools and expenses like fuel, parking, tools are all paid.

Data Cabling Installer Short Term Contract Manchester - Outside IR35 VIQU have partnered with an organisation providing IT services to schools cross the UK, who are looking for an experienced Data Cabling Installer to support an installation project in Manchester. The successful Data Cabling Installer will work on structured cabling deployment, with the majority of work involving installation within live or existing environments. The role will predominantly focus on Cat6 / Cat6A cabling, with some fibre installation work also expected. Role Responsibilities Install, route and terminate Cat6 / Cat6A data cabling, supporting fibre cabling installations where required Mount access points, trunking and associated hardware across site environments Carry out cable pulling, labelling and basic testing at project completion Work independently on-site while liaising with clients and internal teams Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including routes, labelling and handover details Key Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as a Data Cabling Installer Strong understanding of Cat6 / Cat6A cabling and termination Exposure to fibre cabling installation or handling Experience working within existing / live buildings, including more complex or older structures. Structured Cabling Data Engineer Plymouth (On Site) Permanent Summary NG Bailey IT Services are currently recruiting a Structured Cabling Data Engineer / Managed Services Engineer who will be responsible for the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and are delivered within NG Bailey's clients Service Level Agreements (SLA). The Data Engineer will have experience of the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and preferably hold the CNCI (Certified Network Cable Installer) qualification. You will be responsible for responding to any of our managed service contract break fix requests as per the contract SLA's. It will be desirable to have experience as a service engineer of Electronic IP Security Systems. This position is working across military sites, therefore Security Clearance is required and is a condition of employment. NG Bailey will support with this application if you are eligible.
