Electrician Location: Reading / Southampton / Oxford Day Rate: 230- 250 (cis/LTD) or .17 (PAYE) Contract: Temporary to Permanent The Role We're seeking skilled NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electricians, supporting a major social housing provider who own and manage over 40,000 homes across the UK . Covering Reading, Southampton, and Oxford, you'll play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient electrical installations across a large housing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspection and testing for condition reporting of electrical installations Install smoke and heat alarms Perform fault finding and diagnosis Carry out Consumer Control Unit (CCU) upgrades Undertake partial rewires and reactive maintenance Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations Complete all certification and reports accurately and on time Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent) BS 7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) ECS Gold Card Own tools and full UK driving licence (SSSTS qualification is desirable but not essential.)
