Electrician Location: Midlands based- covering nationwide (Mobile) Salary: £30- £34,500 basic, OTE £40-45,000 Permanent , Full time Position. We are seeking an Electrician with Retail, Commercial and Industrial experience, ideally based in the Midlands to cover a nationwide basis. The role is mobile (transport provided) As this is a nationwide role, this will involve working away at time of 4-5 days a week, with weekend work available Our client is leading the way in lighting maintenance, LED installation and electrical compliance testing. They service over 10,000 sites for more than 80 clients across many sectors, including the largest Retail Groups in the UK. Using their own directly employed engineers covering all areas of mainland UK and Northern Ireland, they regularly and proactively visit sites to resolve lighting needs and to ensure that our clients meet all compliance obligations. Desired Experience & Credentials: Fully Qualified Electrician- with 2365 with NVQ 3 or 236 parts 1 and 2 for example, and 17th or 18th Edition (any other direct equivalents to the same level will be acceptable) Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points) Lighting refit work experience IT literate and able to use a Smartphone/Tablet for communication and reporting Must be able to carry and use steps/ladders enabling short duration work at height ECS Card (gold card desirable) Personality characteristics of an Electrician: Dynamic Individual who can build and retain strong client and staff relationships Work efficiently and on your own or as part of a team Ability to maintain high standards and follow quality control processes Proactive and confident attitude Flexible with working overtime, evenings and weekends if needed Willing to travel and stay away from time-to-time expenses paid Dynamic approach to work G&P works worldwide with manufacturers and their supply chain to provide efficient and effective solutions to control and eliminate disruptions throughout the manufacturing and launch processes to support the drive for zero defects.
