About The Role You will provide an essential role in maintaining Ecotricity's fleet of onshore Enercon wind turbines throughout the UK to a high standard, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance when required. The Operations and Maintenance Department Service Centre is based in Woodchester, Gloucestershire where you report each week . Due to the location of our generating assets, working away from home may be required at short notice. You will be provided with all relevant training, PPE and tooling required to conduct the role to the highest standards. A company van will also be supplied to travel between the Service Centre and relevant sites. You will be required to work a 6 week rolling shift pattern of:7 days"On"then 7 days"Off",followed by 4 weeks of Monday to Friday. Entry salary for this role is £40,000 - £46,326 depending on experience, with average annual overtime and allowances earnings approximately £10,000, plus a 5% shift allowance. Core Responsibilities Working remotely in a small team performing all activities related to the maintenance and repair of generation assets. Responsible for fault finding and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Carry out repair or replacement of main components.
