The Role As part of a specialist team supporting law firms across the UK, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules, and supporting the day-to-day operation of both client and office accounts. Key Responsibilities Client Account Management Process client account receipts and payments. Accurately post client account transactions. Assist with client-to-office transfers (CTOs). Set up and process bank payments from client accounts. Maintain accurate client ledgers. Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs). Office Account Management Post office account receipts and payments. Maintain accurate accounting records. Support month-end accounting processes. Purchase Ledger Process supplier invoices and credit notes. Maintain supplier account records. Assist with supplier payment runs. Reconcile supplier statements Month-End & Compliance Assist with preparation of management accounts. Produce month-end compliance reports. Support three-way reconciliations. Monitor client balances and aged items. Ensure ongoing compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules. Skills & Experience Essential Strong numerical and analytical abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective organisational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Desirable Previous legal cashiering experience. Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs). Experience using LEAP and/or Xero. Experience working within a law firm or accountancy practice. Accounting qualification or studies currently in progress.
