HGV Technician - Fabricator Welder Description Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder Vacancy Monday to Friday: Day shift: 45 hours per week Permanent, Full time position I'm currently working with and on behalf of my client to secure a qualified, highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder for their workshop in the Walsall area. The company are a highly experienced fleet management company that have provided commercial vehicle solutions in the municipal sector for many years,. They specialise in short and long term fleet hire solutions and have workshops and depots all over UK. You can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment where your efforts will be rewarded. A skills shortage can be trained by way of upskilling. What cannot be trained however is the right attitude and the desire to give your clients a first-class service. You will be carrying out fabrication to a varied and diverse fleet of vehicles The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to) Chassis repairs Vehicle servicing and Maintenance Body building and body repairs Riveting, Bolting, cutting, shaping, bending Fabricating predominantly from steel. Correction of running defects Chassis and fabrication work TIG and MIG welding Hydraulic work MOT Preparation Requirements: Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent in welding and/or fabrication.
