Role Accountabilities: • Carrying out intake inspections on raw materials to ensure compliance with specification requirements. • Completing intake checks, audits and quality assessments in line with site procedures and customer requirements. • Monitoring and recording temperatures, product quality attributes and delivery compliance. • Identifying and reporting any non-conformances, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken and documented. • Working closely with Goods In, Operations, Procurement and Technical teams to ensure issues are escalated and resolved promptly. • Collecting and submitting samples for microbiological testing in accordance with site and Group sampling schedules. • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard. • Supporting investigations relating to raw material, packaging and supplier quality concerns. • Assisting with supplier audits, customer audits and site visits when required. • Ensuring GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times. • Supporting continuous improvement activities across the Technical and Quality functions. • Providing technical support and guidance to operational teams regarding intake quality requirements.
