As our CNC Operator you will: Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes and/or milling machines Read and interpret technical engineering drawings Load and run CNC programmes efficiently and accurately Prepare materials and machine setups Manufacture components to tight tolerances and quality standards Conduct in-process inspection and complete quality documentation Use precision measuring equipment to verify output Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance Work collaboratively with supervisors and quality teams Adapt to varying production needs and tasks In order to be successful in this role you should have (training will provided for the right candidate): Experience operating or setting CNC machines (lathes and/or milling) Familiarity with Fanuc controls (or willingness to learn) Ability to read technical drawings and understand machining processes Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming Understanding of measurement tools and quality standards Experience working with engineering materials (e.g. alloys, ferrous metals) Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds desirable) Come and meet us!
